Chocolate gives the reader a solid foundation in chocolate technique, unique interpretations of standard recipes, and creative uses of chocolate in baking. Don't let the size of the book, 128 pages, discourage you from purchasing this book. It is jam packed with information and delicious recipes that are very manageable for even a novice cook.
Subjects covered include confections, baking, ice cream, drinks, and even a section regarding ingredients source websites. My favorite recipe in the book is the Chocolate Waffle Recipe on page 81. My wife and I have shared many a romantic evening at a local restaurant which serves a delicious chocolate waffle dessert. We've tried many recipes, but Linda's was the first to capture that rich, chocolaty waffle goodness. I highly recommend Lind Collister's Chocolate for any level of home chef!
