I have a confession to make. I am a cookbook FANATIC. My wife cringes when she sees the Amazon boxes delivered because she believes I have a complete library of cookbooks. She has gone so far as to establish a new house rule that states for every new book I receive, one must go. Her justification for this is that I never make anything from the cookbooks, I just salivate over the recipes.
Cookbook reviews will be a main component of life and chocolate. My criteria is subjective, but I do give extra points for creativity, instruction,ease of recipes and pictures of finished recipes. Nothing inspires the home cook like seeing a beautiful picture of finished recipe. What a challenge it is to recreate a dish one sees on television, magazine, or book. I appreciate any feedback or suggestions of cookbooks to review.
